Are you a tech professional looking to give back to your community?

Perhaps you're a teacher interested in doing something engaging and fulfilling with the girls in your classes?

Or maybe a parent who wants their daughter to explore a new range of skillsets?

How about a female student who really likes mobile apps and wants to learn how to build one - and even make it a career?

If any of these apply to you, you'll want to learn more about the Technovation Challenge at the

Technovation Open House

October 10th at Canopy City in Somerville.

What is Technovation?

Technovation is an international program and contest for girls 10-18 that teaches mobile app development, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. Teams of up to 5 work together to develop mobile apps aligned with 6 UN Sustainable Development Goals, and that address a problem in their local community. The curriculum is online and free to everyone, and no experience is necessary.
