3 Steps to Waging an Effective Activist Campaign

Learn how to set into motion three distinct phases that are fundamental to waging an effective activist or political movement, including tips and tricks on how to:

• gain credibility regardless of adversary credentials

• land national and international press

• control the media dialogue 

• strengthen your individual or organizational message

• exercise operational security

• build cross-domain partnerships that build your ranks

There will also be a brief case study of the early 1980s Nuclear Freeze movement and an informal group discussion designed to build solidarity among attendees and share lessons learned in the field. 

The goal is to transform this into a monthly gathering of like-minded activists to facilitate the cross-pollination of ideas and to help galvanize the local activist community.
